In sports, John Gillon had a career night for Syracuse as the Orange rallied from a 16-point deficit to beat North Carolina State 100-93 in overtime. As heard on WEBO, Gillon scored 43 points, the first Syracuse player to reach that milestone since Gerry McNamara in 2004, and drained a new program record 9 3-pointers. No shot was bigger than the 3 to force OT. Andrew White took over the extra period, scoring 9 points to lead the Orange to victory. They host Virginia Saturday at 12pm.
