The Owego Apalachin School District will be hosting a seminar on college recruitment for student-athletes. Owego-Apalachin Athletic Director Andy Buchsbaum has announced the seminar at the school next week looking to educate parents, students, and coaches about athletic scholarships and the college recruiting process. Buchsbaum has contracted Student Athlete World to conduct an hour-long seminar entitled “How to Avoid the Major Athletic Recruiting Mistakes”. While the meeting is not mandatory for Owego-Apalachin student-athletes, Buchsbaum says he would like all athletes considering playing sports in college to attend. More information can be found at student athlete world dot com. The meeting is set to be held in the Owego Apalachin Middle School Auditorium on Tuesday night, March 25th, starting at 6:30.
