The Maine-Endwell School District will be opening its new baseball stadium with a ceremony on Wednesday. The field on Farm to Market Road in Endwell will be unveiled with a ribbon cutting ceremony to introduce the new stadium scoreboard, along with the official naming of the field. Maine-Endwell graduate Thomas Tull and his wife, Alba, who donated money to help make the renovation project a reality, will be delivering the ceremonial first pitch before a simulated game between M-E and Vestal. Construction of the new turf field, dugouts, press box, and bleachers started back in October. Tull is Chairman and Chief Executive of Legendary Entertainment, and serves as part owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
