Ithaca College has named a new head football coach. Dan Swanstrom will be introduced as the 10th coach in school history at a press conference today. The Texas native has spent the last three years as quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator for Penn, which set offensive records en route to back-to-back Ivy League Championships. Before that, Swanstrom was the offensive coordinator and associate head coach for Johns Hopkins. Under his direction, the Blue Jays offense broke every significant team record and more than 75 individual records. Swanstrom replaces Hall of Fame Coach Mike Welch, who retired at the end of the 2016 season. He is just the fourth head coach of the Bombers since 1958.
