John Huston Wins the Dick's Sporting Goods Open

John Huston won the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open at the En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott with a 7 under par score of 65 on Sunday.  This was Huston’s first Champions Tour win; he became eligible on June 1st, his 50th birthday.  Nick Price shot a 66 on Sunday and finished second at 13 under, or 203 strokes for the tournament.  Second round leader Mark Wiebe shot a 71 on Sunday and finished third, four strokes behind Huston.  The winner took home $258,750 of the $1.75 million tournament.  Horseheads native Joey Sindelar who was a guest along with John Huston on Friday’s WEBO Afternoon Show explained how the event gets better every year.
