Jimmie Johnson won his record-tying seventh NASCAR Championship yesterday, winning the race at Homestead-Miami Speedway that was heard live on WEBO. Johnson stormed past race leader Kyle Larson on the final restart and hung on for his fifth win of the year and third of the Chase. Other championship contenders Joey Logano finished fourth, Kyle Busch was sixth, and Carl Edwards was 34th after a late crash trying to block Logano on a restart.
