New York Mets Triple A baseball is coming to Syracuse. Mets owner Fred Wilpon announced on Tuesday that the Mets would purchase the Syracuse Chiefs and move their Triple A affiliate from Las Vegas to Syracuse in 2019. The Washington Nationals are currently affiliated with Syracuse.
