In baseball, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies will host their annual July 4th fireworks display after tonight’s 6:35pm game against the Harrisburg Senators. Tickets are available at the box office or online at www.bingrp.com. The Rumble Ponies hosted an eventful weekend that included a visit from former New York Met and Yankee Darryl Strawberry. He spoke with the team, signed autographs, and threw out the first pitch. On Friday, the Rumble Ponies announced the #BingItHome campaign to host an Eastern League All-Star Game. Binghamton has never hosted the league’s all-star festivities despite having a team since 1992.
