Matt Harvey to Make Rehab Start with Rumble Ponies

New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey will make a rehab start with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Monday night at 6:35 p.m. against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Harvey is rehabbing a stress injury to the scapula bone in right shoulder. He has been on the disabled list since June 16.Monday will be Harvey’s third rehab appearance on his way back to the Mets, the first two coming with the Brooklyn Cyclones.

The Dark Knight was a member of the Binghamton Mets in 2011. Monday will be the first time he pitches in Binghamton since that season. Harvey was 4-3 with a 5.25 ERA in 13 starts with the Mets before landing on the disabled list.
