The Rumble Ponies had a difficult weekend in Akron, splitting a double header on Friday losing a makeup game 2-1 and winning the second game 6-1. On Saturday, they were shut out 1-0. Then on Sunday the rumble Ponies were again shut out by a score of 4-0.
Former B-Met Matt Harvey made a rehab appearance with the Brooklyn Cyclones, allowing a run in one inning pitched. Harvey is recovering from the after effects of thoracic outlet surgery.
