The Syracuse University men’s basketball team took care of Cornell 78-58 at the Carrier Dome Tuesday night in a game that was heard live on WEBO.
Senior Rick Jackson led the Orange attack with 17 points and 13 rebounds, his sixth double-double of the season. Kris Joseph added 16 points for No. 8 Syracuse, who improved to 7-0 on the year with their 33rd straight win over Cornell.
Errick Peck led the Big Red with 14 points. They are 2-5 so far this season, losers of four straight. Cornell last beat Syracuse in 1968.
The Orange will be back in action on Saturday night when they host NC State at the Carrier Dome. Pre-game coverage will begin at 5pm on WEBO.
