Kris Joseph had 18 points as the Syracuse University men’s basketball team took down St. John’s 76-59 at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night.
It was the 17th straight win to begin the season for the No. 4 Orange and the 1,800th win in program history. Jim Boeheim has coached 856 of those victories over the past 35 years.
Rick Jackson earned another double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. He also surpassed the 1,000-point mark for his career.
Syracuse will return to the Carrier Dome on Saturday for a 12pm game against No. 25 Cincinnati. Pre-game coverage will begin on WEBO at 11:30am.
