SU Basketball Takes Down Drexel, Improve to 13-0

The Syracuse University men’s basketball team wrapped up its non-conference play with a 93-65 thrashing of Drexel at the Carrier Dome Wednesday.
The game was heard live on WEBO.
The Orange led for most of the game, putting the Dragons away by shooting 72 percent from the floor in the second half.
Kris Joseph scored a career-high 25 points to lead Syracuse while Philadelphia-native Scoop Jardine added 21. High school teammate Rick Jackson recorded his ninth double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Syracuse is an undefeated 13-0 to begin their season. It marks the second straight year and the eighth time in 35 years that SU has gone undefeated in non-conference play.
The No. 5 Orange will begin the Big East portion of their schedule with a game against Providence at 9pm Tuesday at the Dome. Coverage will begin at 8:30pm on WEBO.
