SU Basketball vs. Mich. St. Tonight


The No. 7 Syracuse University men’s basketball team faces its toughest test of the season Tuesday when they take on No. 8 Michigan State at Madison Square Garden.
Tip-off is scheduled for 9pm on WEBO.
Tonight’s game is part of a doubleheader in the Jimmy V Classic. No. 4 Kansas will play No. 14 Memphis at 7pm.
Syracuse is 8-0 to begin the season after a 65-59 win over North Carolina State on Saturday. Senior Rick Jackson is averaging 13 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Orange.
Michigan State is 6-2, with losses to Connecticut and Duke. Seniors Kalin Lucas and Durrell Summers are leading the Spartans, combining to average nearly 30 points per game.
Syracuse holds a 9-7 advantage in the all-time series against Michigan State.
