The Syracuse University men’s basketball team won the 2010 Legends Classic this weekend with an 80-76 win over Georgia Tech in the championship game on Saturday.
After a sluggish first half, the Orange started the second half red-hot with a 22-4 run to take control of the Yellowjackets. Syracuse beat Michigan 53-50 in Friday’s semifinal. Both games were heard live on WEBO.
Senior Rick Jackson was named the tournament MVP after recording double-doubles in both games.
The Orange are 6-0 to start the season. They will host Cornell on Tuesday night.
