The Syracuse men’s basketball team will host 10th-ranked Duke tonight in the Carrier Dome, and the game will be heard live on WEBO. The Orange are looking to snap a three-game losing streak against the Blue Devils, who they defeated 64-62 in their only meeting last year. IMG coverage of tonight’s game will begin at 6pm.
The IAC has announced their all-star teams for basketball. Waverly’s Hunter Bodine was named the MVP for the Large School South Division, while teammates Jon Ward and Gavin Judson were named to the first team. Tioga’s Nick Klossner and Connor Hutchinson were selected to the Small South first team while Candor’s Steven Kern was selected to the second team. For the girls, Waverly’s Elle Nittinger was named MVP while teammate Alex Tomasso made the first team. Sarah Hollenbeck from Tioga and Shaylin Heidl from Candor were selected to the Small South first team.
