The Syracuse University men’s basketball team edged Seton Hall on Saturday 61-56 to stay perfect on the season.
As heard on WEBO, Sophomore Brandon Triche scored all 15 of his points in the second half to lead the Orange to victory. Kris Joseph chipped in with 13 points while Rick Jackson scored 9 and grabbed 14 rebounds.
The No. 4 Orange are 16-0, one of five remaining unbeaten teams in the nation. The last Syracuse team to start with 16 consecutive wins was the 1999-2000 squad, which won 19 games before losing at Seton Hall.
Syracuse will play St. John’s at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday at 7pm on WEBO.
