Two Binghamton Bearcat wrestlers earned berths in the NCAA wrestling championships after the BU team itself finished in a tie for seventh place at the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association championships on Sunday. Senior Cody Reed and Junior David White will be wrestling in the championships, after Reed was narrowly defeated in the 197-pound championship 5-4 by Cornell’s Jace Bennett, and White earned one of the 6 bids for 125-pounders. The NCAA championships start next Thursday.
