The Rumble Ponies played Trenton Tuesday evening. The Rumble Ponies defeated Trenton 3-1.

New York Mets outfielder Juan Lagares played center field for the Rumble Ponies last night, beginning a Major League rehab assignment. Lagares, who played for Binghamton in 2011 and 2012, fractured his left thumb in June.

New York Mets pitcher Rob Gsellman had a successful second rehab appearance with the Rumble Ponies last night. He pitched three innings, allowing two hits and no runs with two strikeouts.

Vestal pitcher Dom DiRado has announced that he will pitch for Binghamton University after graduating next year. DiRado helped the Golden Bears win their first state championship since 1996.
