With school budget votes occurring all over the Southern Tier tomorrow, Owego-Apalachin Superintendent Dr. Bill Russell joined us on the WEBO Morning Show today to discuss the district’s proposed budget for next school year. The proposal calls for adding five teaching positions and one guidance counselor back to the district, while increasing the local property tax levy by 0.9 percent. Dr. Russell also gave us an update on the ongoing construction projects at the main campus and other events coming up soon. Residents can vote on the budget and board members tomorrow from noon to 8pm. The full interview can be heard below.
