The Tioga United Way will be holding an Adult Spelling Bee fundraising event on April 9th at the Owego Elks Lodge on Front Street in Owego. The event will raise money for the United Way’s 31 partner agencies throughout the county. Teams of 2-5 people can register by going to TiogaUnitedWay.com for a contribution of $100. General admission for those who don’t wish to participate in the competition are $5. You can also choose to sponsor a team or volunteer by calling (607) 687-4028.
