Local elected officials will join together for a press conference in Endicott today in response to what they call Governor Cuomo’s misconceptions about local government. The press conference will be held at 11:30am at DeGennaro’s at 300 Hill Avenue in Endicott. Town of Owego Supervisor Don Castellucci is one of those who will be speaking today. He says the governor continues to blame local governments for the state’s high property taxes, when in fact those governments have been working together for years and sharing services to try and keep taxes down for residents.
