A Flood Watch continues for the Southern Tier until early Thursday, but local river levels are expected to crest throughout the day tomorrow more than a foot below minor flooding stage in Conklin, Vestal, and Waverly. As of now, the Susquehanna is expected to crest at 10.8 feet in Conklin and Waverly and 16 feet in Vestal tomorrow morning. Those levels would put the river in the action stage at all three locations, meaning an increased level of attention to possible mitigation measures. That does not include Owego, where the Susquehanna is expected to rise to 23 feet, which is seven feet below flood stage. We will continue to follow the forecasted levels and update them as needed on WEBO.
