The Owego Free Academy boys basketball team controlled their own destiny in the division two weeks ago, before they dropped two games to the two teams challenging them for the title: Susquehanna Valley and Johnson City. But the Indians caught a break when Johnson City beat SV on Friday, forcing a three-way tie among the teams. After the teams were seeded 1 through 3 based on defensive points against, Owego was seeded number one and had to wait to see who won a Saturday matchup between the other two teams, a game that ended up going to SV. Now, Owego will host the Sabres tonight with the winner earning a division title and a spot in the STAC playoffs. OFA head coach Bryan Hathaway had been waiting for this opportunity since the Sabres beat the Indians on their home court.
