In the Cal Harris murder trial yesterday. During cross examination of Michele Harris’ sister-in-law, defense attorneys tried to prove Shannon Taylor steered the investigation toward Cal Harris. Both sides finished questioning Taylor yesterday. Also, the court was approached by a juror who said he was having a hard time hearing. The defense asked for the specific juror to be disqualified. Judge Bartlett will make a ruling on the juror this morning. When Bartlett asked each member of the jury if they had a hard time hearing, two other men raised their hands. An additional juror approached the court at the end of the day yesterday with an apparent issue — the court is expected to discuss this more this morning before testimony begins. The people will call its fifth witness today at 10 a.m.
