Members of the Tioga Central School District held a rally yesterday to promote community togetherness. The pep rally worked to ignite “Tioga Pride” throughout the community. While there were guest speakers, musical performances, games and more, the true purpose of the event wasn’t just to have fun…it was to unite the community after the first budget vote and remind everyone that Tioga is one big happy family. The new option, with a tax levy of 17 percent, was proposed. Voting for the new budget proposal will take place tomorrow.
