Congressman Tom Reed’s office has announced that 75 new jobs will be coming to Tioga County. The jobs will come from a new FedEx plant in the county. The project was originally hindered by the Environmental Protection Agency’s new stricter guidelines, however, Congressman Reed’s office worked closely with the Army Corps of Engineers to develop a proposal that would be both practical for FedEx and meet EPA standards.
