A Broome County Jail Inmate is facing more charges after a search found illegal drugs in his cell. Justin Knapp of Binghamton is facing two felonies and one misdemeanor after he was found to be in possession of Suboxone, a controlled substance. Corrections Officer Sean Pomeroy discovered the drug during a search of Knapp’s cell. The inmate had to be restrained after the discovery. Knapp will be arraigned on the additional charges this week. The sheriff’s office did not say why he was already incarcerated.
