Election day was yesterday, and the results of voting are in. Fred Akshar won the vote to become state senator for the 52nd district of New York. In Broome County, Kevin Dooley won the race for Broome County Court Judge. The race for Broome County District Attorney is currently too close to call, with only 587 regular votes separating Stephen Cornwell and Gerald Mollen.
