The Tioga County Legislature will be holding a public meeting to discuss a recently proposed law. The law would make it so that parents or spouses of individuals who died in the line of duty in the armed forces would not need to pay county property taxes. Municipalities within the county would then have to choose to opt in or out of this tax break. The public meeting will be held in the County Office Building on November 19th at 10AM.
