Congressman Richard Hanna explained his recent decision to not run for reelection after next year, while in Binghamton yesterday. Hanna cites his desire to spend more time with his family, and his age at 64-years-old as playing a part in his decision. Hanna says that he still plans on being very active in congress in the coming year, wishing to tackle issues such as education for young children, as well as retirement savings. At the end of next year, Hanna will have served a total of three terms as congressman.
