One man is in critical condition and another behind bars following a shooting on Harry L Drive in Johnson City yesterday. 29-year-old Francisco Maysonet is said to have repeatedly shot a male victim before fleeing on foot. New York State Police and Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted the Johnson City Police Department in locating Maysonet. The handgun believed to be used in the incident was found by an off-duty Johnson City Police officer this morning. Maysonet has since been charged with attempted murder and criminal use of a firearm. His victim was transported to Wilson Hospital by passenger vehicle before authorities could arrive.
