A man has died as a result of a house fire in Springfield Township. 82-year-old Harry Neece was unable to escape the burning home on Sawyer Road. Neece was a disabled veteran, confined to a wheelchair. A female, children, and pets were also in the home at the time of the fire, but managed to escape safely. A cause of the fire has not been determined.
