Three Vestal Alumni are to be inducted into the Vestal Hall of Fame this year.

Captain Michael Giannetti graduated from the Vestal Central School District in 1988, and is now a decorated naval aviator and officer. He has commanded the “World Watchers” Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron, has served in the Pentagon, and is currently a Director of Current Operations in Pearl Harbor.

Lieutenant Colonel Drew Watson graduated from Vestal in 1975. He has commanded the Marine Corps’ First Force Reconnaissance Company, and has also represented the United States Marines as a ground exchange officer with the British Royal Marine Commandos.

Dwayne King graduated from Vestal in 1960. He went on to become a bush pilot in Alaska, and then a Missionary in Russia. He has performed mission work in Eastern Russia where there are no roads. Planes are then one of the fastest ways to bring in supplies and encouragement.

All three men will be recognized at a Hall of Fame Dinner reception. Reservations to attend the dinner are being accepted now through April 25th.
