One organization is continuing to work in our area to provide veterans with an opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. for free. Twin Tiers Honor Flight allows veterans to tour the capital of our nation they worked so hard to protect. Chip Longabaugh is a member of the Board of Directors for the Twin Tiers Honor Flight, which is an official hub of the national Honor Flight Network. Longbaugh says that the organization is actively looking for veterans who wish to go on these trips to Washington D.C. Preference is given to veterans of World War Two, Korea, Vietnam and/ or terminally ill veterans. If you’re a veteran interested in going on a free tour of Washington D.C., or if you would like to find out more information about Twin Tiers Honor Flight and any upcoming fundraisers, you can visit: https://www.twintiershonorflight.org/ or look for them on Facebook.
