An Owego Free Academy student unofficially broke a state lifting record last week. Junior Lindsay Field dead-lifted 385 pounds – 82 more than the state record of 303 pounds for her age – at an event at Norwich High School over spring break. She is going through the process to be able to make an official lift at a state-sanctioned event soon.
