A passenger involved in the May 8th accident which led to the death of a 4-year-old is filing lawsuits against both drivers. 17-year-old Dashawn Pabon was a passenger in Jontay Card’s Toyota Camry when it was struck head-on by a vehicle being driven in the wrong lane by 32-year-old Thomas Steyer. Pabon alleges that Card had sufficient time to avoid the collision, and that Steyer was in violation of the laws of the road. Pabon says that he suffered several cuts and bruises from the accident, as well as nightmares and loss of sleep. No one has received criminal charges by police as a result of the accident.
