Nearly $500,000 in federal funding will be coming to Broome County Fire Departments. Just over $496,500 will be used by the Lisle, Kilawog, Triangle, and Chenango Fire Companies to purchase new breathing apparatuses. The money comes through the Department of Homeland Security’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant program.
