A Binghamton teenager has plead guilty to a charge of first-degree manslaughter. 19-year-old Jonathon Garcia is accused of killing a man named Jamaal Moses during a drug deal gone bad in February. Garcia plead guilty to this charge of manslaughter as part of a plea bargain with the Broome County District Attorney’s Office. Garcia was originally facing a charge of second-degree murder, which could have yielded a maximum of 25 years in prison if convicted. Garcia will now only serve 15 years in prison as part of his plea deal.
