Two minors have been arrested in connection to the recent string of car burglaries, which ended when a car was stolen then later crashed into a fence at Kirby Park in Nichols. The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it has arrested a 17-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy in connection to the crimes, but is withholding more detailed information due to their age. The incidents took place in Nichols Tuesday evening. The 17-year-old has been arraigned and sent to the Tioga County Jail on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond. The 14-year-old boy is also facing numerous charges and has been referred to the Tioga County Probation Department.
