A 12 and 15 year old are being charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, after the shooting death of 12-year-old Jeremiya Alford in Elmira last month. The incident occurred in a West Hudson Street apartment on July 30th. Previous statements from the Elmira Police Department have indicated that investigators ruled the incident was an accident. The names of the 12 and 15 year old are not being released due to their ages.
