Binghamton Mayor Rich David, Senator Fred Akshar, and Binghamton Rumble Ponies Owner John Hughes announced details of an upcoming $2.5 million renovation project of NYSEG Stadium. Because NYSEG Stadium is owned by the City of Binghamton, $2 million of that total project cost will be provided by the State of New York as municipal grant money. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will provide the additional $500,000. New upgrades include: additional seating options, more ticket booths, and an entertainment stage near the right field entrance.
