Airport Road in the Town of Maine was closed for several hours yesterday following the rollover of a fuel tanker truck. Authorities say that the accident occurred when the tanker made an evasive maneuver to avoid rear-ending an SUV that had stopped for a deer in the road. The tanker ended up in a ditch alongside Airport Road. No injuries have been reported as a result of the accident.
