New York State Police have closed their investigation into the explosion in the Town of Tioga that shook the local area on New Year’s Eve. State Police say no charges will be levied on the people responsible, because the substance used to cause the blast near Diamond Valley Road is legal to possess and it occurred on private property. No injuries were reported and police have talked to the people responsible. They have not been identified.
