Section 4 has announced that 23 people will be inducted into the Section 4 Hall of Fame this year. Elmira Notre Dame graduate and two-time Olympian Molly Huddle headlines this year’s class, which includes 16 athletes, two coaches, and four contributors. Another member of this year’s class is the former Megan Shay of Candor. The basketball standout scored 2,205 points in her five-year career, third-best in Section 4 history, and was named the state’s Class C Player of the Year in 2005. Former Windsor three-sport star and current Wagner College head football coach Jason “Hoss” Houghtaling will also be inducted this year. The hall of fame class will be honored between basketball championship games at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena on March 4.
