A new event is in the planning stages to highlight arts and agriculture in Tioga County. The idea behind the first-ever Tioga Arts and Agriculture Trail is to showcase what artists and farmers do every day in the studios and farmland. The trail will take its participants on a self-guided tour through the county on its roads less traveled. Farms and artists with interesting work to share are urged to contact the Tioga Arts Council at [email protected] to get listed on the tour … no entry fees or admission tickets. Submit your work to be highlighted by the end of June. The inaugural Arts Trail is scheduled to take place on two Saturdays: on September 23 and October 7 from 11 AM – 5 PM at locations still to be determined.
