Broome County Parks will officially open for the season on Memorial Day Weekend. While many of them are open year-round, some of the parks offer special opportunities like boat rentals, camping areas, and swimming during the summer. County Executive Jason Garnar hosted a kickoff event at Dorchester Park in Whitney Point yesterday. Admission is free for all 11 Broome County Parks, which will be open from 8am to dusk daily from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. More information about each park can be found on the Broome County website.
