The search for a former Trumansburg police officer has ended. Andrew Jacobsen was arrested in Tioga County Wednesday night. He had been on the loose for about 24 hours, after escaping custody in Trumansburg. He’s now being held in the Tompkins County Jail. Police say Jacobsen had assistance following his escape. Trumansburg Police will be investigating further.
