Congresswoman Claudia Tenney is calling for an appeal of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s decision on December 6thto deny a major disaster declaration for the 15 Upstate counties impacted by severe flooding in July. Tenney also invited FEMA Administrator Brock Long to tour damaged areas and meet with those who were impacted by the flooding and sustained damages to their homes and businesses. In a letter to Governor Cuomo, Tenney called on the governor to immediately submit an appeal to FEMA. She also expressed her support for the appeal and willingness to work alongside the Governor to ensure that this decision is reversed.
