A State Police Trooper attempted to pull over a car on Fairview Avenue in Binghamton on Sunday. The driver wouldn’t pull over and initiated a chase that ended in Windsor. The vehicle occupants threw auto exhaust parts in the path of the pursuing police cars. The car was eventually stopped by tire deflation devices. The two occupants fled on foot, but were quickly captured. The driver, 23-year-old Aaron Vogel, of Hallstead, Pennsylvania, was charged with felony Reckless Endangerment and several misdemeanors. The passenger, 20-year-old Dylan Thompson, of Montrose, Pennsylvania, was also charged with felony Reckless Endangerment and misdemeanor Resisting Arrest. Both suspects were arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail. The State Police were assisted during the pursuit by the Broome County Sheriff’s Department.
